Let us help you find the right type of carpet for your home
Walking into a carpet showroom can be overwhelming to say the least. The variety of colors, styles, fibers, and patterns can leave you left choosing between thousands of different carpet options.
loop
This carpet lends a casual vibe and has clean lines that work great in minimalist, modern spaces. It’s often found in home offices and playrooms. Loop pile means the fibers are bent into little loops. It’s a very durable, stain-resistant carpeting, but has a low profile and limited cushioning. When the loops are cut, we create a Cut Pile carpet, often known as Plush or texture carpet.
pattern
This popular carpet style comes in a wide range of floral and more graphic patterns sculpted into the fibers. Pattern carpet can work in all kinds of rooms from traditional to modern, you can even put a modern pattern in a more traditional room for an instant eclectic feel.
Texture
This versatile style looks great in all kinds of homes, from traditional tudors and Pennsylvania Field Stone to eclectic bungalows and everything in between. A textured finish with distinctive patterns created by a combination of level loop and cut pile at different pile heights creates a wide variety of style options for any room. Textured carpet such as sisal, multi level loop pile, and berber are also extremely durable carpet types that are perfect for high traffic areas such as family rooms, bedrooms, and finished basements.
Frieze (twist)
Frieze carpet has long fibers and isn’t recommended for high traffic areas. This casual, comfortable style adds a bit of fun to modern and eclectic homes and looks great in front of a roaring fire. This is not your mother’s 1960s shag carpet, but this updated version is still perfect for a mid-century modern space.
