Luxury Vinyl Tile Buying Tips

You won’t believe it’s not ceramic or porcelain

Luxury Vinyl Tile includes a thick, durable floor, multiple layers, realistic 3D printing, a tough wear layer, and sometimes, a textured surface that gives the look and feel of real tile. If you want a stone look without the stone, groutable tiles are the way to go. These look like real stone, and with the added capabilities of adding grout, no one will be able to tell these aren’t real stone.

Anyone can install them

Depending on the tile, interlocking installation is either tongue and groove or clicking together tiles. Unlike some floorings which can take several days to install, Luxury Vinyl Tile, or LVT, takes just a few hours. The installation is quick and relatively easy. But it is still a good idea to have a contractor do it for you, to ensure the perfect installation if you have any concerns.

Luxury vinyl tile is not affected by water, unlike wood, which swells and rots when exposed to moisture. You can therefore use vinyl tile in the bathroom, patio and kitchen without worrying about water damage. Luxury Vinyl Tile can last for years while still maintaining its vibrancy. It is a resilient material, allowing it to withstand years of use without showing any signs of aging.
